Earthquake:

Postby Paul Tavares » Thu Jun 24, 2010 3:16 pm

Hi Guys,

I`m sure that most of you by now have heard about the earthquake that we had in Ontario yesterday afternoon, I did not know what was really happening until it had stopped.
I was coming out of the bathroom and I see a flower vase on top of the kitchen table moving, I tought it was the wind, I looked at the sliding door in the kitchen and it was closed, then I hear my son calling that the sofa was moving, it`s a weird feeling when you find out later on that it was an earthquake.
I am glad that there are no reports of serious injuries or any major damages.

Thought it was interesting , things rattled around here for about 20 seconds and then moved away .
Then again , I like turbulence on a plane also , as long as we get save from A to B , no worries

I was sitting in my chair in the living room when around 1.45 PM i felt the legs of my chair moving. It was only for a few seconds so I just thought I had imagined things till I later heard that we had an earthquake around that time.
